Finally I started building again. Starting a new job, building a new home, moving back to Vegas and dealing with a raging pandemic wasnt easy. Most days i’d come home and sleep and start all over again. I had all the tools i’d need to get back into things but had zero motivation to actually do what i love-Building guitars. Got hospitalized for Covid late 2020 and thought that I may not get to see my family or build another guitar ever again. Two years later im back and have a new guitar to add to the list of completed builds. This one is hanging out at SoulBelly BBQ in Las Vegas. Its actually one of my favorite BBQ places and I was super stoked to see it rest on stage after presenting it to the chef. I’ll list the Specs below and a bunch of pictures as per usual. The original body was supposed to be roasted swamp ash using a body blank I’d saved but I messed up on it and had to use what I had on hand. Swamp ash nowadays is nearly impossible to get without paying an unreasonable premium.
