So this was worth the trouble. The binding is seamless and now I have the added benefit of tang-less frets. Sanded up to 2000 to polish this Macassar ebony up, then applied a few coats of odie’s oil super penetrating oil to the board before it receives it’s frets. I’ll give it a coat of odie’s woos butter and wax before frets are applied but a few starter coats of this really shows you the beauty of this particular wood.
