Got a lot done. Rough-Carved the back of the body. Trimmed fret ends, drilled holes in the neck pocket and mapped them to the neck heel, drilled and installed threaded inserts. Drilled peghead holes and realized that the headstock was too thick for the tuning pegs. It killed me a little to have to sand off that lovely veneer on top. I then chose another veneer once the thickness was just right. It was just one of those days where things didn’t go as smoothly as you’d like. I quit while I was ahead and will finish up the rest of the drilling tomorrow.
