These are for the burl and walnut 6 string guitars. Both 26 scale radiused to 20in . I had the salesperson at LMII pick out a very dark board for the burl top and had them draw the entire centerline which will make my life easier.
I printed out the fretboard design from fretfind2d and matched it up with my CAD drawings and they matched up perfectly. This makes me very happy.

I just got a neck from Warmoth, goncalo alves neck with pau ferro fingerboard. As I unboxed it the wood is beautiful however the pau ferro fingerboard has some cloudy or dry looking slots in a couple areas…I thought a quick rub down with gerlitz guitar honey would do the trick assuming the cloudy spots were just dry…this did not work and it seems the marks are still present…could anyone help me with this…I’m not sure if this is just the natural wood or if there is anything I can do to remove these spots..I also read about stew Mack fingerboard finish and considered to maybe use that? I have used true oil on a different all goncalo neck and its great…I am not sure if maybe try oil on the pau ferro would be a good idea or not? I intend to save this neck for a future project so any help educating me on this issue of advice how go get rid of these cloudy looking slots on the pau ferro would be very much appreciated. Hey cool , I read it wrong I guess , it was the 26 Inch Scale that I got mixed with . I never saw that scale before , but it must have more tension , so better diffinition I guess .
you are exactly correct! I’ve been playing around with different scale lengths. for years i’ve bought guitars with 25 (PRS) and 25.5 (fender) and 24.75 (gibson). And realize that since I tune down a lot, I can have the best of both worlds at 26. I can tune down a fair amount OR keep it standard without sounding strange. The farthest i’d go is 27.5 like i did for my baritone. After that length it starts becoming a little uncomfortable to play for me.
Hey buddy . Did you do the Compound Radius yourself the way I understood ! Love Pau Ferro , it was on my Pre-Gibson Tobias Bass that I had years ago , wish I still have it !
hey bud. No i just do a straight 20 in radius. Its just less complicated for me and i like the relative flatness across the board
