This is comfy. Check how neat the microplane rasp leaves the wood. And the straight slopes were smoothed with Anthony Murkar’s fine hand plane.
Then when it all was basically roughed out I hit it with some odorless mineral spirits which were truly odorless— thank god.

and yea you are right, it doesnt mean it isnt toxic but compared to the last brand of ‘odorless’ mineral spirits actually smelled horrible. This one theres absolutely no scent at all. so that makes me happy lol. I do use it sparingly though.

Hi Luis!!! yea im trying new things. Typically id leave it all rounded or chamfered, but im building this for a friend of mine who always hooks me up with gear. Good thing is I also know his taste in guitars so im building this with that in mind. So i nice smooth heel is important here. I love that guitar you built too buddy!!
