So I’m chucking the wooden bridge idea. I realize if I’m goin to wind my own pickups I’d need something to send the ground wire to, and last I checked wood didn’t conduct anything other than sound. So instead I went with my first idea which was to simply chop my 7 string flat mount into individual saddles. It isn’t gonna look pretty but if it works then I’ll use it.
