Finally finished. My “Treat Yo Self” present for matching into my 1st choice fellowship for Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She’s got some fine detail and wiring work to be 100% perfect but she already sounds beautiful. McNelly’s Saint Nick HSP90’S sound incredible and can handle the cleanest of cleans and the dirtiest of dirty. It’s a heavier guitar than I’d expected but it feels just right while playing. I wired a Treble Bleed mod onto the volume knobs of the pickups which brought back some of the lost high end frequencies. The difference is quite noticeable so I hard-wired the mods.

I wanted a wiring scheme similar to the Ibanez Talman Prestige / Nashville wiring style where the neck and Bridge are wired to a three-way switch and the middle pickup is wired independently. It’s tricky because I still can’t figure out for the life of me how to wire the middle volume to act “completely” independent of the main circuit. When the N+B volume is off the entire circuit is off. In order for the middle pickup to work the N+B volume needs to be “on” on the lowest value before cranking the middle pickup volume. If any of you have a wiring scheme which will allow me to run two volumes and a tone with the volumes independently.

The shape is reminiscent of the classic Telecaster style builds of both Tao Guitars and Vik Guitars. I loved aspects of both and wanted to make my own vision of the two models. When you boil it all down it’s all a tribute to the famous Fender Telecaster.
