Love carving mahogany. Espave smells spicy too when carved. Pickups should be here tomorrow. I’ll have to wait till Wednesday until I get a chance to route and install. After that then everything is just about the final touches before finishing. I’ll be using Odie’s oil, butter and wax for finishing. 

On another note I preordered ordered Shaper by Origin. If it works as it’s planned to, this means I’ll be able to route and shape an entire guitar in just one sitting. Won’t be getting it until it ships 2017, but I’ll spend the time learning some CAD in the meantime.
