So the roasted maple got a coat of wood butter and the burl maple got a coat of wax after 0000 steel wool.

Thanks to James and Tracie over at Odies Oil for sending me the samples to use on this guitar. I gotta say everything’s looking pretty spectacular right now. The pictures show the application and buffing which took place about an hour apart.

The burl maple has had about 1.5-2 weeks to cure so I scuffed it up with some 0000 synthetic steel wool then I applied some of the wax I received. I’m going to buff that out and then I’ll update this.
