Yes I used a pepper shaker as a curved clamp caul.

The three ply veneer I made for the roasted maple build was absolutely too stiff to bend. I figured I’d give it a shot to hear the bottom part and to slowly bend it into shape. I sprayed some water and ironed it until it would Bend into shape with some force. I’ll see how it all works out tomorrow. I’ll probably go back into the shop Sunday after I radius the board to press frets and route neck pockets. That will make these builds nearly completed; as far as rough woodwork goes. Then comes the sanding and sanding.
