So I got the mating surfaces of the necks trued on a belt sander. Also trued the sides of the fretboards since they were a bit wonky. Now it was time to route.
I use a dremel trio because its easy as hell to use an the bit it comes with is the perfect width and length. It couldn’t get much better. I don’t usually use a template. I just go slowly and make sure the path is clear. I started with my neck and removed wood in three or four passes. Since I became a bit more confident I was able to do it in two passes for the bass. The seven string will wait until I’m finished level sanding it.
