I’m posted in Emergency Medicine and today is our changeover day. This gives me some time to get some work done on the guitar before I start an 18 hour shift. I found a woodworking place near campus called Aadhar Woodworking. This place is great, has great staff and is much better equipped than the last place I used in kodambakkam. My Fretboard was cut to the drawing and planed to 1/4 inch thickness.
I then had the Body band sawed to my drawing. I decided to go bigger because I’d be rounding the entire body and was thinking of putting a slab of paduk wood betweek the wenge plates to add an accent. Along the way I found a gorgeous piece of paduk and am now in a bit of a dilemma as to which wood should be the top wood… I’m leaning more towards the Paduk now…
